Downtown Rochester’s nonprofit art center, Paint Creek Center for the Arts, will be holding its 50th Annual Arts and Apples Festival this weekend, Sept. 11-13, 2015, in Rochester’s Municipal Park.
- Friday: 4-7:30 p.m.
- Saturday: 9 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
- Sunday: 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Admission is free, although a five-dollar donation is suggested.
More than 290 national and local artists will be coming together to showcase their finest work such as paintings, sculptures and photography. According to Sunshine Artist, this festival ranks in the top 30 fine art fairs in the U.S.
There will be a variety of music on Main Stage in the park plus activities and homemade desserts.
Rochester Municipal Park is located behind the Rochester Police Station on 6th St., which is north of University Ave. and west of Rochester Main St.
A shuttle will be provided from Rochester High School on Saturday and Sunday due to limited parking.
