The Rochester College baseball team has begun practices for their fall season with high hopes. The Warriors look to build off of a 24-22 record from last year, with many key players returning to RC.

“Almost all of our returners are going to be key this year. Soph. Dan Monear, SR Chad Skarjune, and SR Jesse Rometty will lead our pitching staff,” head coach Scott Kunert, said about his team

Rochester will focus on doing the simple and smart things throughout the season, as they look to qualify for the WHAC conference championship in their first full year in the league.

“These practices don't have the feel of normal fall practices, they feel like mid-season practices,” Coach Kunert said.

The Warriors first game of the year will be a home doubleheader vs. Marygrove College on Sept. 24. The first pitch will be at 12 p.m.
