On Oct. 22, Rochester College will be one of the last safe zones against the invading zombie hordes.
RC’s chapter of Psi Chi will be hosting their annual Run for Your Brains on Saturday at 3 p.m. Students and anyone over the age of 15 are welcome to take part in the invasion. Tickets will be $10 for students and $15 for any non-student who wishes to participate in either the 1K or the 5K run.
There are three groups that will be a part of the run, human survivors, fast zombies and slow zombies. Human survivors must carry supplies through zombie-infested terrain to ensure the survival of the human race. Zombies, both fast and slow, will be scattered throughout the RC’s campus to stop the humans from completing their mission. Fast zombie tickets are limited, so get them before they are gone. Those who wish to participate can sign up here.
The event is hosted by the ThinkFirst Injury Prevention Foundation, which is part of the St. Mary’s of Michigan Field Neurosciences Institute. ThinkFirst is a foundation established to help prevent brain and spinal cord injuries among children and teenagers. All proceeds collected from ticket sales will be donated to this program.
If you like zombies, or just want to help out this amazing program, come out and run for your brains!
